Blood Alcohol Testing Laws NH
In the State of New Hampshire, vampires aren't the only people after your blood. Only you're not going on a date with Edward from the Twilight saga.
A blood test is another way of determining the alcohol concentration in your body. Blood tests are also used to determine if you have any illegal drugs, narcotics, or prescribed medications in your system.
Just like a breath test, you have the right to refuse a blood test. If you refuse, then the DMV may take your license for a while, but if your blood test comes back over a .08 or with evidence of high drug usage, then you can be certain that a DWI conviction is in your near future.
Accordingly, if you have been drinking or using drugs, we would strongly recommend that you keep your blood to yourself and refrain from any testing. Also please see our page on breath tests.
